This is my third try at leather. I wanted to build a sheath for my Muddy Mojo that followed its shape and would not mar the blade. I tried to make it big enough not to scratch the blade and I lined it in soft suede. I did not use any drills or power tools. Just an awl and a sharp knife. I plan to dye it. Right now it is just natural leather with some bees wax. After it is dyed and finished I will post more pics. Thanks for looking

You should be proud and happy. Show how it is carried on a belt if you can. Thanks.

That is a nice piece. You did a really good job. I love when someone asks where you got the sheath!
Oh, I made it.

Thanks guys, for the kind words. I must admit I worked really hard on this one. I love doing this stuff cause you learn so many new things with every one you build. Thanks again

no power tools!!! that is amazing work, VERY nice!

Thanks much. I find that drills remove leather while an awl merely pushes the leather out of the way. That way the leather closes over the stitching increasing the integrity of the sheath. Takes loads of time but I think it's worth it if you're making it for your own use and with no intention of selling.

Great job!!!

That's a really nice sheath...and great workmanship too.
