Muddy RatManDu's available now.....

I finally managed to snag one. It looks like a perfect hiking knife (along with the other 100 or so "perfect" hiking knives I have). LMAO. If I could just get a muddy howler little mischeif, and sheaths for both I would be in heaven. I was just checking the for sale forums looking for a ratmandu, and decided to check the company store on the off chance there would be some there and ....... viola!!!! there was an "add to cart button" My pulse was pounding until I got the confirmation that, yes, I had, indeed, actually managed to get one. Crazy behavior for a 38 yr old knife knut, but ............

Eric,

I don't see them on the website. Both links you provided bring me to the same place and I cannot see a reference to the Ratmandu. Am I doing something wrong?

And now they are gone, they last about 6.5 hours. I think this is a record for the RatManDu's

:D:D

I did it. My hands are shaking. My first Swamp Rat. I am a bad person. I am a bad person. I am a bad person......

How do you ship Eric? If USPS, I don't have to worry about getting my wife out of the house. If UPS, well, she'll have to go shopping.

I can't believe I missed them again. Someone please give me a heads up next time.... I Reeeaaalllyyy want to snag one of the RatManDus.:(

I tried to order some stuff...added the international shipping to the cart...and checkout added local postage as well so I didnt proceed with the order. BCS is far more easy to order from to be honest (well at least for international customers).

The International shipping is in addition to the shipping that is added. I ship USPS Express Mail to my International Customers, it costs between $40-$50 depending on the weight of the package. The International charge is $33 plus another $11.95-$13.95 for a total of $44.95-$46.95. I understand that it is expensive but it is very close to the actual shipping charge, depending on a customers location.

I also understand that it may be easier to order from BCS, their shopping cart software is different than what I use, there are drawbacks to both software packages. One thing nice about my software is it is impossible to "load" the cart and hold the knives from other customers that are wanting them.

Eric...my total for shipping was $33 plus $17.95 ....$51. BCS charge $42 and Alaskagun just charged for $42 also to ship me an AK. Is that charge correct then? Also, what do you put in the state? Just AA or something? The only thing better about BCS is that it accommodates the international addresses better. Scrapyards international order system is difficult also.

What did you have in for an order, if it was 3 or more knives it is probably correct?

I agree that the shopping cart does not work well for international orders, but it is the only option I have right now.

For a state use IA, and for a zipcode use 51638, just pick any state other then KY, if you choose KY it will cause problems.
