I see everyone talking about every knife that is out there but this one. The muela knifes I think you pretty good. They are made in spain. They use real stag. Really nice belt sheath's. Does anyone else have A view on these knifes??.

I have a Spanish-Paramilitary knifebought it back in 99'. It is the only Stainless blade I own it has done it all, I have literally beat the crapp out the thing and it keeps going.
I would not put next to my Scrapper 6 LE or my Horton. But it is more knife than you pay for.

I've never used one myself, but from what I've heard the Muela knives are very reputable, i.e. good, comparable to Puma and Boker.

Most are made of a 440-series stainless steel or equivalent, which some object to - but the thing to remember is that it was mostly North America that caught up in the trend of designing modern super-steels.
European cutlers, by and large, stuck with the simpler stainless steels, and have, in their own simultaneous advancement, become very good at heat-treating them. So a Muela knife is quite capable of performing as a modern knife should.

I also know of one, the Magnum Alcaraz, that Pierce Brosnan's character carried in the movie Seraphim Falls, which is a very unconvention western and one of my favorites.

I've had a few over the years. They make a very good, serviceable knife. They've got soooo many designs it makes one dizzy trying to choose. Well, at least they did four years ago when I last perused their site.
All my dribble aside, yes, they do make very decent knives for the money. Usually you can find reasonable prices for them on the www.

Good luck choosing.:)
