I have an offer to buy a Spanish Muelay knife as shown in picture below. I wanted to know what is a fair value for this knife. What steel do they use?

picture doesn't work, but to give you an idea i bought a nice Muela skinner with a olive wood handle for aroud 65$

I got a small Muela with recurve blade and it's much better than I had expected. They say their steel is 440C, which can't be possible, cause their steel has vanadium in it and 440C doesn't. I guess it is a kind of proprietary composition.

On a local Dutch trading site I saw some second hand Muela knives, I don't know how they compare to the one you can buy, but here's some info:

- 7102 ALCE, 62 USD
- MU1121 Mountain Knife, 87 USD.

Muela - I don't know anyone who has much experience with them.

I have a "combat" style knife from Muela similar to that one, but mine has saw teeth instead of serrations. I bought it for the blade shape.

I'm thinking that one would probably go for about $50 or less. Don't hold me to that, though.
