I was sorting through some very old papers in my desk last night and found the sales slip for my very first Busse, an SHBA with BUSSE on the spine.
The SHBA resides in Mulder's fantastic collection now.
Here are some pictures and story for you history buffs, it was at I believe the Solder of Fortune convention in Las Vegas or one of the bigger gun shows back then. Busse had a booth with a small table that had five or so blades laying on it ranging from small to large. I had never heard of Busse before but the SHBA and SHSH really caught my eye! I had to have one and the $140.00 was all I could spend at the time and for me it was a lot of money for a knife.
A short time after buying the Badger Attack I noticed a wright up and cover picture of a Busse on a knife magazine and I remember reading about the sheath that came with the knife in the magazine, so I called Busse and spoke to Jerry, he sent me out the sheath for free!
I used the knife for quite a few Mule deer and Elk hunts, it only cut game and showed very little wear.

Mulder please send me your address again and I'll send you the sales slip to keep with the knife. Just give me first dibs if you ever sell it:D
