Not sure if this is the right spot to post this. Looking for an approximate value on a couple of no longer in production mule teams. I have one in CPM 4V, CPM S110V, and K390. All are still new in box. Any help is appreciated. Again ballpark values here would be nice. I know some are more desirable than others.

Best I can tell. Tho, not specifically your blade steels..
At auction, 88-160$ (higher have scales and sheaths)..
88$ was the only one under 100$..

Most range in the 120-130$..

So on average.. 125$.. (at auction)..

Not saying they may not sell at 150$.. K390 and 4V are higher on mosts, wanted list..

Sorry but sales prices for Spyderco Mules are currently much higher than this.

If you do a search of past sales on EB (something that would be nice to also have on BF), you'll find that most Mules are going from between $130-300 with most sales in the $175-250 range for just the blade alone (plus tax & shipping which actually increases the cost to the buyer to around $200-275 if purchased there).

The cost of a pair of Halpern scales and a Spyderco sheath would add at at least another $90, if you buy them yourself ($60 for the scales and $30 for the sheaths), but are usually discounted by 50% in a 2ndary sale which includes them w/the blade,

Better deals can be had w/the right timing but realistically, in the current market, you should expect to pay at least $175-250 (plus tax & shipping costs, if any) for any of the Mules the OP is asking about, which is about 3-5x's the release price of $50.

Consider yourself fortunate if you can do better than that.

I just purchased a S45VN Mule off of the BF Exchange for just $100 but, of course, that's still 2x the original release price. Add a pair of Halpern scales and the total cost of that blade to me was $160.

I also just purchased a ZMax Mule on EB for $169 (over 3xs the release price) plus tax for a total of $183.79 (shipping included). Add a pair of Halpern scales to that blade and the total was about $245.

I definitely consider myself "lucky" to have seen the ads for these Mules when I did in order to purchase them for these prices. If I didn't see them 1st, someone else surely would have bought them instead.

BTW, if you don't get one of the MagnaCut Mules for the release price of $75 from Spyderco in a few days, I'll be very surprised if the asking prices for them in the 2ndary market does not exceed $300 (about 4x the release price).

I recently bought a NIB S110V Mule for $130.00 on the BF exchange, I think it originally went for $89.00. What You pay here and on Ebay are usually different values! Just depends on where you sell them and how patient you are!

Thank you for the help guys. I was just wondering. I have halpern scales and spyderco leather sheaths for each of these as well.

I know you Always have something to say.. I just wish you would Read, first...

My post SPECIFICALLY, mentions the prices for past AUCTIONS...

Not just what ppl post them for(buy now) and have their sales, timed out. So they repost..

I got my numbers from, Past Auction sales.

Which means, that's what ppl are willing to pay.

Every ebay listing that ends, says, "Sold (insert date, here)"

If You do your research.. You can see that more then a few of them, are reposted and still for sale..
Therefore.. They Didn't sell for that price.

That's why I made my post, strictly about Auction sale prices.

I am talking about actual PAST SALES on EB (whether auctions or not) which represents the prices people have actually paid for Mules recently.

Thes eare NOT the results of expired or unsold/reposted listings.

You can easily find them by clicking the boxes for "Completed Items" and "Sold Items" in the left sidebar after doing a word search for "Spyderco Mule."

Check it out.

Some.. Maybe, some.. of the "buy now" can be counted.. (the low end)

The OP asked for a "ball park worth"... at that point.. Auction sales is the way to go. It's the most realistic.

I'll come up to an Average worth, of 136$.. Based on past, Auction prices and the lower end of, buy nows.

I don't see a "completed" wording on any of the past sales.

I do however count, at a quick glance(like my post last night), atleast 3 current sales.. That are marked "sold" in the past history..

Soooo... They timed out and got reposted. As I had already said.

Most of us, already laugh at EB pricing, from flippers.

That doesn't make it, "what it's worth"... So I'm not sure why you would bring those prices here..

That would be like telling the OP the Damascus is worth 350$. Because that one on EB is priced at that.. also has been for sale for a Long time!

I did however sell a NIB Damascus for 225$. Guy wanted to complete his collection and offered that much.
