I've had this laying around since December, finally had an opportunity to get it done. Its the CTS-XHP version. Kirinite lava flow handles, squared on top, contoured bottom. It melts into the hand...I'm not normally a fixed blade guy, but this thing is really nice! Made a kydex sheath to go with it, carries very discretely. I used the 3/16 holes for my hardware:

Im curious to see what others have done with their mules....what hardware did you use? Pins? Materials? Show 'em if you got 'em!!

Looks great. Those scales would be really cool on the "lava" sprint.

Yours looks great , just Halpern scales on mine

looking great gang...would love to see more Mules!!

Hey, Rival! Nice looking scales! The kirinite is pretty cool. Did it work like corian or other synthetic material?

There is a long thread over on the Spyderco Forum that has lots and lots of Mule pics. You should check it out.

SPYDERCO FORUM "SHOW YOUR MULE" THREAD

I really like customizing mules myself. Here are some pics of a few of mine.

Great looking pics^^^

It is a material all its own...I learned to cut & sand at lower speeds than G10. It tends to gain heat & the dust melts as you get going fast. Same with cutting it...all i needed was a scroll saw. Its very light, and unfinished has a plastic;like feel, but is very dense. When polished its smooth as glass...completely changes the feel in a good way.

Oh man, Red and Black scales that blow my mind! I want every knife I own pimped to have those red and black scales! My colors!

Very nice work rival! You did a killer job with the lavaflow, and it looks way better smooth than it does textured.

These all look really great! I wish I had known about the Mule knives before the XHP model was all gone... :(

Here's my S90V Mule with canvas micarta. I keep meaning to do a little more contouring but other things keep taking priority.

The mule looks like a fixed bladed tenacious. I really need to stop coming to this forum. it's making me want to spend money I don't have :D

Nice work Rival!

Mine is currently just wearing Halpern scales. I keep shopping for some wood to throw on it but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Seeing the pics here gives me some ideas.
