Mule Team Question

I'm a knife appreciator and user, and pretty handy in my workshop; but not a knife builder and do not have specialized equipment. On the mule team knives, do they come with all the tempering, stress relief, initial edge, etc. and you just add handle scales? Or is there a lot more to it? IOW, how much needs to be done to finish a mule team blade into a knife?

The blade is complete, heat treated and has an edge on it. All you need to do is add whatever kind of handle you want.

I usually just wrap the handle with paracord and drop it in the leg pocket sheath I have cobbled up. Been working for a couple of years or more now.

even if you dont want to make your own handles, you can get them online from various makers, including halpern titanium. i am in the process of making handles for the 2 that i ordered. supplies should start arriving tomorrow!
