Well I got lucky and shot a nice 4 pt mule deer the day before I headed out to Alberta for 9 days hutning antelope. One of my firends butchered it for me while I was gone. Got quite a few steaks form this one.

Here is a shot of him hanging in my smithy:

Nice buck. I like how the little girl is about to attack it with the sword.

Congrats! Beautiful buck. Now you've got some good steaks to bring on your 9-day hunt. Good luck on the Antelope, too.

4 points? I count at least 10. What scoring system do you use? Nice Mulie, BTW.

Nice Buck! I think its a regional thing-I'd say it looks like a 4X4. Some areas don't count the eye guards when describing the points. I was taught to count the points on the left then the right side.

Nice buck.. going to Southern Ohio in two weeks for some whitetail bowhunting.

Best time of the year.. hunting time

Yup, a 4x4 with broiw tines for a total of 10 pts.

Good luck on your upcoming hunt TheGame - hopefully you get some pics to post:)

Thanks for the comments guys.

October 16-24th.........hopefully have some pics up in a couple days (I'm trying to catch up on knives:o)

Had some barbqued steak tonight - they were excellent:thumbup:.

very nice buck indeed! :)

were the tines blackened up much from hanging around the burnt area? I saw a bull last year that had near all black tines that was frequenting a burned area- was pretty neat to say the least.
