At the Blade show, we were told that someone had complained about the quality of our steel on this forum. We wish to notify all that any piece of steel we sell is unconditionally guaranteed and if the complainer had contacted us, we would have made his purchase good by replacing the steel or refunding his money. Complaining before contacting us is hitting below the belt.

I have to agree with you. If someone has problems with any of my product, I should be the first person he complains to. If I then do not rectify the situation, he can tell any one he wants, but I should at least be given a chance to make a bad situation right.

In reply: We make Damascus from 1095, L6 and sometimes small % nickel. For the twist pattern and ladder, we sell for $7.00 sq in., and it is surface ground.When my scanner gets back on it's feet, will send some photos. Anything we can help you guys with, just holler. Don't have much formal training, just some experience(some of it not entirely successful).Also a big curiosity to do something new.
 
That's some of the better prices I've heard. The unsuccessful experiences teach us the most. Some of us are just getting started in it, and we'd be interested in any tips you have.

I spoke with Muller Forge in April, and the gentleman was very helpfull. He spent alot of time with me and talked about his product and answered all my questions. He even supplied me with the paper work to certify what the billet, had been forged from. And his prices are very fare, with fast service.

It is easy to be misunderstood if like me, have a hard time expressing myself in print.
I am not defending whoever it was that said it but if they are the kind of a person to run someone down for no good reason they won't be around long in any business.

How about some pricing on 3/16X1 1/2" Chain Damascus

We here at Muller Forge no longer make chain Damascus. After doing several different materials, we have gone entirely to L6, 1095 and nickel and do only pattern welded steel. Sorry.
