Hi
Please could someone advise me on this. When I want to quote just a part of someone elses post, and a few other quotes from people posts, how do I actually go about it?

I never seem to be able to get it to work, unless I post the entire contents of someone elses post.

Much appreciated

You can quote multiple posts, just hit Multi-Quote(parentheses symbol beside Reply with Quote). Then just edit the quotes as I 've done to yours.

When you quote someone elses post, their post will appear in the top of you newly started post between the words QUOTE and /QUOTE encased in brakets [ ]

Just edit whatever is between those to show what you want.

Press the button with the " and the + on it for all the quotes before the last one, and they will light up orange. On the last one you want to quote hit the Reply With Quote button. All of them will appear in your post. Then edit accordingly.

Wow..... learn somthing every day.

If you edit a quote and inadvertently delete one of the "[" or "]" bracket symbols from either end the quote won't show properly. It can be hard to spot sometimes.
