Browsing that auction site, not looking for anything in particular. When all of a sudden I stumble on this "buy it now".
:eek:SOLD:D

I've been looking for one of these for a while. It's the multicolored full sized boa!
Apparently they made 394 plain edge versions, and the serrated version is slightly more rare at only 311 ever made. The blade is marked Aug 02. It's over 10 years old and is NIB. The blade is s60v (440V) which is kind of an odd ball steel. It holds an edge great, but is also so flexible you could dent it with a screwdriver. I love the grind lines on the blade. I wish Kershaw wouldn't bead blast everything they make nowadays. It's very similar to a blur.
Killer knife.

Very nice knife. I like the Boa, and still carry one from time to time. I've yet to find a multi-color model.

I love my plain edge mc. The aluminum backspacer colored like the handle is one of the coolest things I have seen on a production knife. I am actaully carrying mine this weekend! Cool find!

That's pretty. I like the grind lines too. The Speedform II has the grind lines on an Elmax blade. Not sure why they quit making that. Hard to deploy the blade, I think.
