I thought the Multi-Quote function was a one-shot. In other words, one selects the quotes for the post, and once you've posted your reply, the selections get unchecked.
However, lately I've noticed that the Multi-Quote holds on to the selections forever. Which means that if I reply again in the same thread, those quotes will appear in that reply also, unless I either; (A) Edit the quotes out of my reply prior to posting. (time consuming and needs to be done for each subsequent post) or (B) go back and manually uncheck the posts I've selected for Multi-Quote. (which can also be time consuming and at times involves going back quite a ways)
Did something change? It used to work as a one shot, and then it started keeping the selections (this happened a while back, and I've been away) and is the reason I will rarely Multi-Quote any more.
Or am I doing something wrong or have a setting selected/not selected that affects this?
