Multi-tool with a diamond coated file?

I wore the file out on my Leatherman ST200. It's pretty much the most used tool on it, and I've noticed that the Wave and Charge have diamond coated files, but I was wondering if there are any other multi-tools out from other brands that do?

The Leatherman Surge has a removable file that's interchangeable with the saw blade. It's diamond on one side and fine metal on the other. You can buy a replacement set of file and saw blade.

Kenny, I hope you take advantage of the most excellent 25 year warranty LM offers. Send that ST200 to them and let them replace the file.:) I'm not sure the life span on a diamond coated file would be any longer than the regular file.

The only thing I'd worry about with him sending it in would be they would replace with an ST300.

Unless he has some emotional attachment to his ST 200, it seems to me that risking a 300 as replacement is not something that needs worrying. Personally, in his position I would be all for the upgrade.

I agree a 300 would be a nice replacement I just wanted to put that out there so he didn't get a surprise.

I was kind of questioning whether the warranty would still cover it since I've actually sent it in once already. On top of that, this one was gifted to me in bad shape ( which is why I warrantied it once already ) and kind of seems like taking advantage of them to repair a knife that I didn't pay for twice.
