Multi-Tool without a blade?

Is there any multi tool out there that comes without a blade? The reason I am interested in one is that 1) I usually have a real knife with me so any slot used by the multi-tool blade could be used for something else or eliminated to reduce size. And 2) it might be possible to take a multi-tool with no blade in my carry-on luggage when I travel and not have it confiscated. Of course there's always a good chance that it would be taken away anyways just because it 'looks' like it could have a blade in it. :(

Any of SOG's multitools have the option of replacing the tools with others. So you can take the blade off and put another tool on if you wish.

i've been wondering about this for a while. one thing i think might be possible is to remove the blade from a leatherman juice for example and get a file that comes in the juices and file out the hole so that it's like a "U" shape if you can visualize what i'm talking about. that way you'd have it when you needed it but it could be removed if necessary. if anyone else has any idea how this could be done or a picture (i feel like i saw a picture of this a while ago) please post here

Forget about taking a bladeless multitool in your carry on bag. I travel all the time and know from experience that it will be confiscated (no 'tools' allowed on board).

After I read Diamond Cut II's post I did a search for SOG multi-tool. This subject was covered before in this forum and others have said bladeless multi-tools are not allowed on airplanes. Oh well...at least I think it still would be useful to have a multi-tool with and extra tool instead of a blade I probably would never use.
