Im looking to get a sog multi tool. Any idea on the best one for the money. Also heard of an extended powerlock. Any one else seen those. Thanks.

Mostly a matter of which components you want to start with. Of course you can change some of the components to make it "perfect" for you.
I have the Powerassist. Don't really consider it superior to the others; the assist function is nice, but hardly a necessity in an MT.

I have the SOG Powerlock in black TiNi. Excellent tool and has been with me through very rough times. After all the sweat and moisture it's held up well. Rust dots under the coating but the coating hasn't worn off at all! The tools are great and the knife is wicked sharp!
I wish I knew how to lubricate it though. Getting it open is not as smooth as before.
