This was posted on the Scrapyard forum as well,, but thought any hogs might find this interesting.

Got my dagger yesterday, had a chance to take it outside and mess with it a bit. I have to say, it makes horrible feather sticks,,, ha!! That's a joke fellas, I know what this little beast is for, and I was incredibly impressed with its tip strength,, I picked at some pine,, and had great penetration and quick in the hand. On another note,, I had picked up this leather sheath for a AMS I have coming,, and tried putting the dag into it just for kicks,, great fit and perfect retention!!!! I don't plan on carrying it on my hip,, but good to know I have a sheath for the moment.

Whoa!! Sick mirror finish,, no I believe the brand is Great Lakes Leather Works,, it's originally for a BRKT gunny,, but in a photo side by side the AMS and gunny looked very close in size. I'll post more pics once the AMS arrives with this sheath.

I'm not sure if they switched the brand of sheaths they are shipping or not,, this one seems pretty good but only time and use will tell..

I'm sure it's good all the sheaths I've had have held up fine. Yeah good old VA they will give you a CHP but heaven forbid you conceal a fixed blade or have a auto...but never had an issue open carrying big fixed blades I've concealed Hawks. It took 28 days for my CHP. I even toted my mini AK pistol just to prove a point once or twice and still no problems with the police! VA is backwards in someways!
