If you haven't heard of us, we are trying to do something different;

We are trying to make our handles as weak as possible, while still making them considerably stronger than the best wood, and adding other fuctionalities to the time-proven tool; the Proper Hawk.

The main advantage of our hawks is they offer superior strength and better balance than homogeneous wood and other synthetic handles.

We can handle just about any head with our Gen 1 Mk 4 handle.

Gen 1 Mk 4 composite handled tomahawks, Multicam Finish.

.50 caliber Polycarbonate Structural Element and Through Tube. We offer Chloroprene plugs with stainless hardware to seal the tube for your goodies, or leave it open as a fire bellows, blow gun, etc., you decide....

Snakeskin handles are grippy, while not being too rough.

Wait. What?

you heard that right, brother.

i respectfully suggest that you go back and read the rest though.

the weaker we can make them (while retaining toughness), the lighter we can make them, and the more we can juke around the hawks' physics.

as Brother Canterbury summarily pointed out - these hawks aren't just hawks.

these handles can be made twenty times stronger than they are, but that would increase weight, and we are minimalists - so we want the hawks to have as little mass as possible, while still being plenty strong.

hence, my statement.

it's a balancing act.

HTH.

I gotcha... LIGHT is the goal and WEAK is just the route.

I see it now :thumbup:

The w-word is like a dirty accusation most of the time, something you'd never say on purpose. So it jumped out. But jumping out, maybe that's what you were going for? :D

I dig your gear, keep up the good work.
