Hi, the other day I noticed on my kydex supplier's website that they had multi cam kydex now. So of course I ordered some to play with and here are the first results. Messed up a couple of rivet placements and I'll have to drill those out and re do some.
It came out pretty cool though for a quicky sheath.

I'll do another one next week when I'm not pressed for time for a Team Gemini. It was tough to get a good press on the nmfsh with my cheapo rump press. 2 pieces of plywood with foam in between and me sitting on it.

take it easy

I wish my NMFSH would get here. Got all the stuff for its sheath waiting.
The multicamo is cool.

THats sweet !

Happy to see a new flavor of kydex coming:)

Nice.....!!!!!!!!! I have to see if my supplier has multicam now.....:D I am waiting on my kydex press to be finished, it will use a small bottle jack for the press part and steel frame around it all :D :D that said my present set up of boards and freaking big trigger clamps is working ok.... :D

Yeah Andy thats pretty much what I use and I usually get a better pressing than I did this time, maybe because the spine is so thick on the nmfsh. I keep intending to make a actual press that dosn't involve my sitting on it and other things just always come up.

Ok had some free time this morning and made a multi cam kydex sheath for my old regular team gemini. Took my time and made sure everything lined up this time.

Cricket, cool stuff Bro. I just picked up some ESEE sheath attachments myself. Just need sometime to get things together:(

I just got a sheet of the Multicam too. Not sure which knife will get the nod for the cool new kydex yet... but it could happen today.

Not to derail... but here is a pic of my press. Nothing fancy at all, but it works great. Two sheets of plywood with the foam glued to the inside, and held together with leather hinges (old coasters). For tension I use a vise. I've also used C-Clamps, but they are a bit of a pain to get tight before the kydex starts to cool and stiffen. The vise gives the sheath better molding.
