Multicam?

I must admit I'm not a camo type of guy but I love multicam. I recently got a mulitcam boonie hat from Propper and a pant from 5.11. I'm finding that it works very well in both wooded areas and dry desert brush areas. Also, the foilage color shemagh matches the colors well.

I'm looking for a shirt or coat to complete the "suit".

Anybody else like Multicam?

Here's a mean looking dude in multicam. That's not me, my hat is way cooler than his :D

All the reviews I have read on multicam are great. Currently however the only piece of gear in multicam I have is a Crye Shooters Cap I picked up from a buddy. I will probably try to pick up some more if the prices are good. I tend to only wear camo while in the woods or hunting. Not because I think I need the camo but because it is dedicated gear set for those purposes only. Similar to not wearing my polos in the woods.

it's got to be one of the most beautiful camo designs out there.

it is a great generalist pattern, but sometimes in deep shadows, it seems to polarize a bit IME.

a hybridized design of Multicam and ASAT would be neat to see.

Same here, I would only wear it hunting or SD combat course. The 5.11 pants were expensive but everything else seems to be reasonably priced. My hat was $10, shemagh was $7, reasonable imo but I look forward to the seeing cheap surplus multicam gear in the future.

I'd love to find a M65 field coat and poncho liner in multicam.

I've got a custom boonie and a Drop Zone Tactical Recce Smock. It was very effective in central Texas and I was able to see a few in Mulitcam attire in Afghanistan; much better than our current ACU pattern. Winter down here in the SE is also excellent for the pattern as well.

This isn't the most WSS related post, but Multicam is one of the better universal camouflages I've seen and used:thumbup:

I've played paintball for a few years now and recently went to Multicam for scenerio events and other games in the bush. Love it!

I picked up Propper pants and combat shirt, not cheap though. Very happy with the pants, but the shirt was not quite what I was expecting. Too much velcro in the sleeves and neck. Makes it kinda noisy when sneaking around. Been looking to trade if interested.

Have you seen Multi-Cam 2.0? Crazy effective.
Here's a pic of me wearing it and standing in a patch of bluebells.
Look how it even blends with the purple.

I've got multicam in Tru-Spec BDU's, the "hunter" series, for hunting. Very similar to what I see from Propper, and from Tru-Spec in the ... military?... series. However, NO velcro, and it has a zip-fly instead of button-fly. I don't know about the camo's effectiveness, except what I read. Typical armchair commando, I suppose. But it seems to blend pretty well in my surroundings, at least as good as the hunting-camo patterns, and is in a shirt and pant configuration that I prefer over the typical hunting gear, as well as being less expensive. I wouldn't mind the series being in coyote brown, because it would probably work just as good for my purposes, but I've never seen it in that color, so multicam is it. Well, that and digital desert for late season, which seems to trend toward looking like just coyote brown, from a distance.
