Multitools in space?

Hi!
What do you know about multitools used by astronauts? I heard that astronauts were issued the craftsman by victorinox, but I'm not sure if this information is up to date anymore, since I've seen photos of astronauts with leathermans. Does anyone know if these were issued or if astronauts can/must bring their private tools of choice? What purposes does a multitool have to serve on a space shuttle or the ISS?

I thought I read somewhere that the shuttle SAK was based on the ranger the difference being a Phillips replaced the corkscrew.
