Searched around for a thread about this but no luck.

Looking for a multitool that has an assisted opening blade. A pocket clip would be good too. I'm aware of the SOG Powerassist and Gerber Crucial FAST. What other options are there?

While externally accessible blades, neither of the Leathermans or the Emerson are assisted opening. I'm ok with that if they're super easy to open, like a Spyderco is. Any experience with that?

It is not as easily done as with a Spyderco, but I never fumble when opening the PE blade on my Charge despite the smaller purchase on the cutout. For some reason, the SE blade requires more of my attention. This could be a personal call, based on hand size and thumb shape. You might have to try one out and decide for yourself.

Very useful suggestions and comments so far everyone. Please keep them coming.

FWIW, my only multitool with an assisted opening blade was a SOG Power Assist and I gave it away last week.

I bought it new in July 2012. It was out of the box only a few minutes before I knew I would never carry it. The sliding "on/off" lock levers on the sides chafed my hands so it was uncomfortable to hold. I have only seen a couple of other owners make the same comment, so it may work better for other people than it did for me.

I would have liked the Power Assist tool more if the blades were manually opened instead of spring assisted. By the time you unlock the blade and flick it open, it seemed like any advantage of the assistance design was lost.
