A few weeks back I discovered Mummert knives and really thought his designs were very unique so I contacted the maker and after asking a few questions, placed an order for one of his PC-P fixed blades. Marc is a very nice guy and answers any and all questions promptly. He originally quoted me a 3-5 week time frame to complete the knife and even at 5 weeks, its not a bad wait. I emailed him earlier a few days back (2 weeks after placing my order) just asking for an update and he says: "PC-P? What PC-P? Oh, you mean this one?" With a picture of my finished knife attached! And man, did it turn out nice! I ordered mine with a double ground bevel instead of the standard chisel grind and Marc was glad to make it happen. He told me this is the first double ground PC-P.The knife is full titanium with a chisel ground, and carbidized edge with a convexed tip. If you haven't seen Marc's work yet, definitely check it out. He's a relatively new maker but if you're looking for some unique EDC blades, he's worth a look. He even threw in one of his CC-L credit card knives after I mentioned on another forum that I thought they (credit card knives in general) were more like novelty items than useful blades and he wanted to prove me wrong. Very cool guy who really takes the time and puts forth the effort to make the custom ordering experience personal. Both are very well done little blades!
