My "Munk Cleaver" with a Horn handle showed up today, WOW! I am very, very pleased, big knife but doesn't feel as blade heavy as it looks. I have a email into Dan K. for an idea on a carry sheath with a JKM attached associate.
The craftsmanship and detail are great, the finish is perfect, everyone needs one of these guys, honest.

Thanks to all that contributed to it's design and making and especially you, Yangdu.

Dick:)

Yangdu is getting stuff done- hooray!

Good for you Sogguy- when you've worked it a little tell us about it.

Munk she emailed me early Friday and said it was in, yep, she is indeed getting things done.
Thanks for the design, it will be a little while before I get out to test it. Dr. says my BP, and most everything else needs some attention, sounds like it's about time to change MD's.

Watch your health. That's important. More years to enjoy the cleaver.

i think how nicknames are created is just fascinating.

sure we toyed around with different names for this creation, but in the end, the Munk Cleaver stuck.

and forever will it be known as the Munk Cleaver.

Yep, the "Munk Chunk." :D That'll do nicely!
