Thanks to Bill and Company. I recieved the Murali last Thursday and have just today had time to work with it. A sweet blade and a sweeter deal. Came mighty sharp too.

Comparing this blade to my 21 inch ang khola, it can only be described as "quaint". It's very well balanced and fast in the hand. The handle wood is very dense and tight grained, and I have no idea what species it is.

After LESS than 10 cents worth of Super Glue, replacing the grease with Kurobara oil, slobbering the scabbard and frog with Pecard's Leather Dressing, dousing the handle with Amazon Golden Teak Oil, it is in condition one and ready for mayhem.

Hey Rusty,
I'm going to pair the Murali up with my Texas Defender 45 Long Colt/.410 derringer. Both pack a lot of bite in a small package. .38's are a little on the weeny side- of course I say that never having taken a hit with one.

Hey Blue,
You're right- they are great blades, it's definately growing on me.

I' going to try to find some work for it today.

Again thanks to Bill and Company.
