Years ago DM made me a golok blade without a handle, nice and thin for attacking blackberry bushes. I wanted to make my own handle, but did a temporary one made of paint sticks and cardboard and duct tape and didn't get around to doing a real handle until I was recently shamed into it. So here it is, after a recent bout with the blackberries. It worked well before but the maple handle is a considerable improvement!! Great working blade by David

A sheath? I mean I do have some leather, but that sounds like a lot of work . . . Although the current sheath made of a pizza box and duct tape no longer really matches the handle . . .

I'm a huge fan of cardboard and duck tape sheath making.

You could use some PetroCor Polymer Sheath Material from FortyTwoBlades to build a sheath.

Interesting idea! But it turns out you can buy a sheath for under $20 so I went that route.
