Just received another one from our top knife modder, Ferrrk.

Again, I drew this one out and sent it to Phil to have done. I wanted a frame lock on this one, but I wanted something different as well.

Here's a factory Horseman:

I was heavily inspired by Deryk Munroe's knives on this one. It's obvious with the use of a thick Ti liner partially covered by G-11 that has been lined with a couple holes and textured.

I was going to go with a raised backspacer, but decided to go with a flat backspacer instead. I would have went with the G-11, but Phil said that there wasn't enough G-11, so we went with Ti.

Check out the fit and finish. Hard to believe that this was all done pretty much done with hand tools!

His bolstered work is about the best around in the knife business. He did a great job on the G-11. There's just something about textured G-11.

Very even orange peeled finish.

Full titanium frame lock, with an orange peeled finish.

Perfect groove work Phil! And I just love your frame lock execution. Very clean!

Now I must clean the drool off of my keyboard.:grumpy::D
Damn fine knife you have there now. Damn fine.

Stunningly awesome! Congrats on a great looking custom Emerson.
I'd love to have that done to one of mine.:D

That is a sweet blade, Ferrrks work is always nice to see and this is no different. Your a lucky boy :p:thumbup:

The partial scales and extra screws do make it look pretty "busy" IMO but the materials
do work really well together, that Ti bolster and G-11 combo just looks great
