Here is a knife Murray forged this weekend. I took some video of him forge welding the steel that was pretty interesting, if I have time I'll try and upload it. Anyway. Pictures!

~10"OAL, 5" blade length, Whitecrane Model with ground spine, 256 layer damascus with a White Steel #1 core, this is destined to have Ironwood handles with red liners, and it's going to be the most amazing fishing knife for a lucky owner! Murray said this was some of his best damascus ever.

Awesome blade, Congrats.

Thanks, but it's not mine. Murray finished it and I had to upload the photos - I thought since they're up anyway the people of Bladeforums would enjoy to see it.

Of course I need it..... Looks very nice all around. Do show some photos with the handles if possible. Thanks. Mike

I've been to this thread about three dozen times since it was first posted just coveting that knife. I think that that is one of the most beautiful knives Murray has made. Just simply a work of art. AMAZING!!!
And the choice for the handles and liners is the icing on the top. I would love to have that knife in my collection.

So just letting you all know this is now my new desktop background. God, I am so in love with this knife!!!
