My son and I had the pleasure of talking with Murray at the recent Blade Show in Atlanta.
For those who don't know Murray, he is 33 and currently lives in Japan with his wife and four children. Murray apprenticed with a 16 th generation knifemaker family in Japan, and is a Mastersmith here in the USA. Murray is extremely friendly and very willing to talk with my 13 year old son. He's committed to keeping youth interested in knives. He is, of course, extremely knowledgeable about knives. He gave me a lesson on his sharpening technique.
He is moving his family to the USA this summer and should have is shop here in order in August. Meanwhile, he's taking orders now for delivery before he moves.

About his knives... simply the best! Without a doubt the sharpest knive of any type, from any maker, that I've ever had the pleasure to use! I highly recommend them and suggest that you email for his catalog immediately.
Besides his knives, he also has produces a sharpening DVD that shows his technique for producing an incredibly sharp blade. I recommend this too.
When my wife tried this knife, she asked me to buy others!
