Happy:)

Nifrand, I've got one similar in wood. So I understand perfectly why you are ":) Happy". Mr. Sterling makes a fine knife.

very pretty...

i admit i'm a recent slipjoint convert. just seems that a plain 'ol pocket knife does about 99% of what i need a knife for other than my fancy 'lockers and 'tacticals'. and better.

Metis

Metis;
Thats what I have been telling everyone for the last 30 years.:D

I agree. I use my pocketknife for almost all my cutting chores. I really don't know how people get through a day without one.

Mr. Sterling makes some very nice knives. Don't ride me out of here on a rail, but here is one that is not a slipjoint...

It's a double bladed liner lock, 2.75 and 3" Norris San Mai damascus (440V core), frame and bolsters are Ti, carbon fiber scales. Kind of tactical-traditional, or something like that. Whatever you want to call it, it was exactly what I wanted, so blame me for the weird material choices.

Here's a more normal looking one (from his website, www.sterlingcustomknives.com )
