Just wanted to share a few pics of blades I saw at the Dayton Air Force Museum. It's a great museum, but you have to go back there a few times to cover everything.

Ach! I spent almost an entire day at the Airforce museum and didn't see those blades even a little bit. (Had to do some testing at Wright Patterson and got there a day early.) My eyes were too busy being bugged out by the pretty birds. Most unforgettable museum trip I have EVER taken. Did you go over to the Air Force 1 area where they had all the previous AF 1's? That was cool too.

Biggest thrills for me were the X-15 and the B-36. The X-15 because I had read all about it when I was a boy in the '60's. The B-36 was just so FREAKING huge. Bigger than the B-52. The thought of all that metal actually flying was amazing.

Folks, if you like airplanes even a little bit, you just gotta go there.

And apparently, they even have knives.
