Musgrave - Nyala?

Looking at the booklet that comes with the CRK DVD, I noticed the knife shown below in a small scan from the booklet. It looks quite a bit like a prototype Nyala. Notice the blade shape and the exposed rear tang with lanyard hole. Does anyone know anything about the background and history of the Musgrave?

I am unsure what exactly the DVD refers to but Musgrave is the name of a now defunct South African rifle manufacturer. It was a division of the parastatal arms company Denel and was a manufacturer of hunting rifles in popular calibre's here in SA.
