Musk-ox horn from Chuck Leake and IG Damascus :D
9" o/a Hollow ground will have 2mm diamonds
bezeled in 18k gold when I'm done..
I just have to put the diamonds in it now :eek:
that horn some C@@L Sheet to work with..:)

thanks guys ( i wish the picture was better) I just got the ok from the new owner
to put what ever I want for diamonds in it
I love this job...:D I mean fun:)

Wow! That looks great.That stuff sure wanted to warp.In the past I just sold it to makers who used it for stick tang knives.Did it move around on you?

Bruce JD wanted Ivory in it but I talked him into
this,, it spoke to me,
you know what I mean..

Chuck that stuff warped all over the place,
I had to just let it go
turning it over everyday until it slowed down then
I forced dried it
on top of the oil furnace about 90deg's for a couple
weeks, then I had to clamp between two pieces of steel
and cook it at 200 deg's for
an hour then let it cool in the oven with the
door closed.
( 150 deg's for 2 hours I'd rather,, but my oven only
goes down to 200 )
I put it together shaped and then vacuum stabilized it.

Roger that is done in slabs with rear bolsters
this one I did stick tang with a pommel with the Maple
razed over the SS,
