I do not post here much, but I thought you guys might enjoy this picture. I was cleaning some snow geese with my beloved Imperial frontier Muskrat.

Love it!

It's nice to see a good old fashioned pocket knife serving its owner well.

Thanks for sharing. Nice knife by the way.

Love those muskrats! Looks like you did well on the hunt. By-the-way, I use my muskrats to shave the tender spines off young prickly pear pads, called nopalitos.

goose. yum. Nice haul. Those Frontier knives are nice and still overlooked by collectors.= cheap.

Cool! I have two Stockman patterns in that brand, one in white delrin and one in black, like yours. I also have an "Old Cutler two-blade Jack as as well. That old serpentine handle sure works well.

Those geese look like some good eatin', too.

Nice hunt, nice knife. Did you hang any of the geese for roasting or did you breast them all out?

knives at work always a pleasure to see. i really like to see our tools actually at work since cutting is why we have knives.--dennis

I collected the breasts and legs on these. I have a good recipe for goose legs in wine sauce. I do have a couple in the freezer for roasting.

Matt,Nice haul of Geese! I love the knife action threads! Good stuff,Thanks!

Sounds great..love to get the recipe :)

Let's take that particular to email or PM or "Carl's Lounge" for off-topic discussion so that we can stay focused on knives here in this thread. Thanks.
