Has anyone ever heard of a Muskrat attacking a human? Just happened to me. I have seen many of them over the years. No sign of aggression. This one came right at me. Looked to be a juvenile. Really strange experience.
 
That's weird...

Did you loose any limb in the proccess ala the White Rabbit attack in the Monty Phyton and the Holy Grail movie? Did you just kick the critter or had to resort to other means of defense?

All jokes aside, I certainly hope you didn't get mangled!

Nothing scares me in the woods like a rabid animal. I had a coon chase me out of the woods one day. Made it to the back door where the 870 was and took care of that.
I have a friend that was cutting wood and a rabid coyote came at him. He had no gun so he killed it with a peavey.
