1) Levine's Guide To Knives- This is probably the best refence on knives out there. You can buy more specialized work's, but I doubt you can find a book that covers various topics as well. This is a must have.
2) D.E. Henry's Collins Machetes & Bowies- Mr. Henry's finest work on the on the subject of these overlooked blades. A must for anyone interested in machete development, and history.
3) The Working Folding Knife- Steven Dick's excellent primer on the subject of folding knives. A practical & enjoyable read.
4) Hear The Hammer- The story of one of America's finest bladesmith's, Rudy Ruana.
