Must you have the newest steel? ZDP-calypso?

Whats this? A INFI traitor!!!!!!!!

What you think I'm going to wait around and wait for Jerry's folder? Forget about it.

lol! folder and Jerry in the same sentence....... ah, never mind :o

The AR has to be the closest thing I've come across that even comes close to what I want a folder to handle. Carillo is extreme, but the price shows it, cant afford one of those or it would be in my pocket instead. :D

The next new thing in steel doesnt attract me, the new and fancy, all swoopy and pointy...... ad nauseum. Everybody says my knives are clunky, ugly, basic, over thick, etc etc etc. I've broken too many "light duty" knives, I expect more of my cutter than slicing, its a tool and I use it thusly. More often than not I have a fixed blade on my hip, folders fold, and that is the problem. ;) I do enjoy having use of my fingers.

That said, I have the AR, an Al Mar SERE2K, and a Sebenza, but none of them see as much use as my Meaner Street, AD, and Badgers. I'm just a purist at heart, none of those folders cut as well or as long as INFI. Even the mighty S30V falls short. That VG10 stuff is nice though.

You know, I don't care if the lock on the folder is the strongest. I don't care at all. I just want a good strong folder with INFI. Just slap together a lockback with INFI or a framelock, and I'll be :D  :D

I'm seriously considering taking a BA3 to my knifemaker buddy, that thread from a while back got me to thinking, I know, dangerous.:o

but.........Badger blade, thick ti liners, and micarta scales! drooooool!:D

I just saw in the exchange! CONGRATS!!!!! Thats an awesome knife!!!! Not many fat INFI SHSH sitting around!
