Who is getting a Leatherman MUT when they come out? Which version? What is the main reason you want it?

I want to get the Utility version, I have Bushmaster Carbines in my Firearms collection, and I am in the Army too!

Do you think they are more show than go? I am not for sure, I need to use it first to know that answer.

I'm going to get a MUT utility if they aren't too much over $100 and I'll keep it in my carbine's bag.

More show than go? Well, for sure the tools have a use. But, miraculously, we've gotten by without them so far.

I still want one ;)

I'm liking the hammer pommel on the MUT , might be a good in Hoods where it's unwise to schlep a tactical .

I think they look great, but i doubt ill have much use for it since im not in the military and dont go around shooting AR's that much. But i love the concept, and wish they did more specialized tools like that. Only gripe would be the MUT's massive weight...at 11.2 oz / 317.5 g its a pretty heavy lump of metal. I'd imagine soldiers to care about that sort of weight. AS for the functions, im looking forward to peoples reviews. Is it all marketing hype or what?

I hope a Leatherman rep reads this, I want it in that cool Tan Sheath they show on their Website for the MUT. Yea it's just like the black one but it is tan and it holds the wrench on the backside. They showed it in differant seens with both the Black and the Tan Sheath so maybe we will have a choice.

The MUT is going to be a sweet tool! I am going to buy one of each when they are released.

I will be getting one for my glock to take it apart and also because my gerber multi tool sucks and I have never had a leatherman I hope the blade is nice

For those of you that are concerned that you might not find a use for all the "specialized" tools on the MUT, I recommend you read this review

It seems like it works just fine in everyday life too :D
