Someone had told me that there is a muti-tool in the market that is specially designed for people that work around computer. The purpose for the tool is to assist people that work with hardwares in the computer world to fix little items around their work area.

Anyone with any info on this? What company is maufacturing them and how much they are going for?

They might be refering to the Victorinox Cyber-Tool. It contains various small Torx and Phillips drivers.

The Cybertool is the only one I know of.

I carry mine daily and LOVE it! I moved over to the networking side and as such don't get into PCs as much any more, but 1)I love having the torx drivers for working on my own PCs; and 2) I like the bit driver better than the ones on any other multitool.

I got the Cybertool 29 (pictured below) since I always have a Leatherman for scissors and pliers. I use it every day.

I'm a network engineer, and carry a Victorinox Cybertool 34 every day. It's the best thing since peanut butter and jelly. It's a tad too big for pocket carry, but I don't mind having a small sheath on my belt.

Computer tools?

Easy!

Yes, the victorinox cyber tools are very good also for computer tech.

I know a further tool - perhaps you mean that

You´ll find it at www.pizzini.at (also the cyber tools)

Thank you so much for the info, I am looking at the Cyber Tool 34 which looks like a perfect gift to my son who is starting his career with computer this month.
The Pizzini site got some real nice designs, I saw some at SOHO, NYC last month but wonder how durable they are? The metal and shape are very attractive but will they stand up to the SAK or Leatherman?:p

Now that is cool--I'd really rather have a multi-tool, but I think I'm going to have to pick up one of those. I usually only run into software problems at work, but I'm beginning to have to open up cases a lot more nowadays so that should come in pretty handy. About how big is the cyber-tool? I've never owned a SAK, but it looks like maybe it's time to get one.

My Cybertool 29, the smallest one, is a hair over 3/4" wide.

I would love this one to have scissors too, but not at the expense of the pliers, which 1) make the tool much wider; and 2) are no where near as useful as Leatherman pliers.

Thanks to you guys and this thread...I have added my first SAK to my collection. I am now the proud owner of a Cybertool 34 and have also started a thread here. Haven't used it yet since I took the day off to go and buy it, but I'll test it out tomorrow. I did some heavy debating between the 29 and 34, but really wanted the extra stuff on the 34. I figured since it is/was my first SAK I might as well go all out. Thanks guys...

Here's a pic...

That's funny, it's like the stupidest thing, but it actually influenced my decision a little.
