I wasn't sure where to post this, hope it's in the right section.

There are a lot of awesome craftsmen[and women] on this forum, I only make "utilitarian" kinds of gear from leather. I'm by no means the artisan as I've seen here but I made a few things for my .50 Hawken, which I use hunting in Eastern PA....

Leather Possibles pouch made from 2 oz goat skin:

This is from a template for a leather "flask" - normally used for cold/alcoholic beverages like Rum. I'm using it for #6 shot for turning my rifle into a shotgun. It's a WIP at the moment, the pencil is holding open the spout until I wet it and pack it with ball bearings to stretch the bottle.




If you wanted to use this for liquids, you need to make/stretch the leather and then line it with Brewer's Pitch. You can find that here:
