My wife's endodontist deal of the day. Need a cash infusion, so as much as I hate to, here goes:

EKK by Bura, reduced to $375. Has small yin/yan inlaid in horn and silver handle. I bought this from a forumite who needed $ a while ago, paid $400. I think these go for $500 new. I can't do pics, but if you email, I'll try and give you directions to find pics on the forum or archive.

BONUS- I'll throw in a like new JKM-1 with this deal.

CONUS only, USPS MO, includes shipping/insurance.

thanks for looking,
Geraldo

Trying to maintain the teeth does get expensive and there doesn't seem to be any guarantees. I paid about $2000 4 or 5 years ago trying to save one single tooth -- which finally fell apart while I was eating mashed potatoes. The dentist was not inclined to refund my money.

I know how you feel Uncle. Didn't realize my dental plan had a yearly cap. I have to keep my choppers in good shape, cause it's a cash deal from here on out.

Price reduction above to $375.

Forgive a newbie question. What's an EKK? Don't want to miss a good deal by not knowing what it is.:)

Ferguson, it's an Everest Kothimoda Katana. Take a look at a Kothimoda sheath, this one looks the same. Much fancier than the regular Katana.

Geraldo,

I did a search to try and find a photo of your katana, but was unsucessful. If you ge the time, I'd appreciate a chance to see the thread/pix. I'm not in the position to buy it though, so don't go out of your way. I'm just a HI Katana fancier :)

Regards,

Alan

Rob, Thanks a lot! Life is hard for us computer morons.

Sheath looks pretty much identical to the one Rob posted. Handle is much fancier than the pic. Horn with engraved silver buttcap and guard. Also has inlays in the horn itself.

To spice things up, I'll throw in a JKM-1 with the katana.

I know somebody can't live without this.:D

I am only 25, but I had a tooth that had a root canal with a gold filling which now resides on a necklace.

Anytime dentistry wants to get out of the nineteenth century would be fine by me...
