MWH Zenith "cold test"

My wonderfull daughter bought me a MWH Zenith "cold test" hatchet at an estate sale for my birthday (78th). It's rusted by salvagable, with what appears to be the original handle that I will try to save. Question is, what do they mean by "cold test"? Can't find anything on it. Thanks, Dog

I can't find anything about the "cold test" but my guess is that it's something similar to Vaughan's "Sub Zero" line in that they're likely made in a manner that makes them especially resilient in extreme cold conditions compared to other axes of the day.
