I won't link because I am unsure if that is allowed. But, I was looking at a MXG Gear deep carry pocket clip for the ZT 0300 series and wondering if anybody has any experience with that pocket clip, or the company in general.

Thanks,

Gideon

the clips are great, they have great customer support, I would recommend them, here's my benchmade grip deep carry, I just ordered one for my 940-1

I have three clips coming for a PM2, BM grip and ZT0452 I'll let you know. My ZT 0562CF has his full Ti set and they're nice.

Just put one on my Ritter grip (the same one Grandmaster has) its really nice.

3 of my Blurs have their titanium deep carry clip (I hate the stock Blur clip), all are great. They ship fast and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

This is good news. I just ordered a black clip from them and some blue standoffs for my skyline cf s30v. I think it's going to look killer since the only thing on the knife I wasn't happy about was the cheap misaligned plastic backspacer.

My experience is different, my mxg clip broke a few weeks ago , I emailed them twice and they don't have the decency to get back to me.
I would never buy anything else from them.

I have one for my Mini A100 and installed it, briefly tied it out and went bent to the original Emerson clip. The ergonomics with the clip were uncomfortable but that is likely to vary from knife to knife and is likely dependant on clip placement on a particular knife. I bought the clip for use while mountain biking–I wanted a deep-carry clip so less of the knife was outside of my pocket making it less likely to catch on something and fall out. However, the tension of the clip against the handle was much weaker than the original clip so I opted not to use it as it seemed more likely that it would fall out. That said, it is well made and the tension should be sufficient for regular use.

I have bought MXG clips for years for my Spyderco blades. He is actually a member here on BF and goes by the handle Gnoleb.

I bought two of their clips for my 2 Para 3's. I got the one with 3 screws and the small notches cut into the clip, for something a little different. Great clips, IMHO.

They have an excellent product. I have but 3 assorted clips from them and I'm very happy with all of them

Not a gold member... can't pm. Oh well.
And not going to waste my time on another email. Just wanted to give people a warning about his customer service and warrenty even though I'm hearing more good than bad about his product.

I own three clips with no issues. The tension on them has been good for my purposes and the one I have on my Mini Grip with AWT scales is actually a little too tight, but I hope to wear it in.

The one MXG clip I bought created a major hotspot on the knife, as it dug awkwardly into my palm. The length of the clip, and the lack of a flattened end (which most of the factory clips I like have on them), made it an awful fit for my hand. That's made me hesitant to buy another one.

That said, the quality of the clip itself was excellent, and MXG's customer service was great for me.

I haven’t got my clip yet for my military so I can’t give my thoughts on it but they take forever on shipping. It’s been 6 days not including the weekend, 6 business days and still not shipped.

Odd... I've bought several clip from them and they all have shipped the next business day.

Might be worth a call to them.
