I'd appreciate any feedback on how well these hold up. Do they scratch easily?Planning on ordering a deep pocket carry clip for my incoming Spyderco ShAman DLC.

Also, I see they only utilize two of the three screws on the clip holder. Is this any issue?

Thanks much in advance,

Daniel

MXG painted clips are like the Benchmade painted ones; easily worn away or flake off. It's not as tough as say, a black oxide finish on it. I've bought the painted MXG Ti clips before, only to end up sandblasting it to raw titanium.

Are they all Titanium? I assumed they were steel. I might be better going plain then. It looks blasted to me. I hate shiny clips.

Good to know this. Sounds the non coated is the way to go for me.

MXG Gear clips are decent but the coating will scratch off. For aftermarket Spyderco clips I prefer Lynch. I think BladeHQ has some in stock. Check out Pops Clips too.
