Will,

The Dominator looks like it's a killer design.

I know this will mean very little... but here's my wish list for a new Dominator version. Just thought I'd put it out there as an idea... no offense. ;)

- Remove the Robo, but keep the flipper
- Add the thumb groove back
- Keep the materials (Ti and S30V)
- Use DDR's deep-concealment clip
- Have tip-up mounting holes
- Add a lock-stop (for tip-up)
- Micarta, Kraton, G10 or grip-tape inlays (anything but bare steel)

Then it will be perfect ;)

Take care -- and oh, before I forget -- Happy Birthday :)

yeah-make a black version of the handle with kraton inalays, and invent a new black coating that dosent scratch or wear of :D.Then the knife will be perfect:D

black coatings are overrated :p

i like black g10 slabs, inserts or overlays because they don't come off. and i don't need to sneak up on sentries in middle of the night.

but silver and electric blue are more obvious in jeans and khakis than black, which is why i like black.

DLC and BC are pretty good... what's your view on them?

Oh, and, by the way, just to show you that I still support Camillus/CUDA/Darrel, I put in an order for the original Dom today.

Neener, neener.

I never actualy held a coated knife in my hand-i dont trust the coatings, because when they get scrached they look like ****.Ihave had any other kind of blade finish, and i have to say that i was disapointed by the bead blast finish-i comes of very easy(i just had to rub it against some wood and voila mirror finish:D ,maybe because of the steel-it was only 420hc?)are coatings more resistant then beadblast?
