Just found these forums when doing some research on my Sebenza and thought I'd post a picture. I bought it from 1SKS in late '07 and it's been in my pocket everyday since then. It replaced an old Colonial slip joint that I'd been carrying since the early 60's.

Well, welcome to Bladeforums my friend! If you like Chris Reeve knives, you're going to love it here. Personally, I think well-loved Sebenzas are the best kind so thank you for the picture.

Enjoy your stay, but watch your wallet! Hanging out in this place too long can cause financial difficulties.

Welcome, amigo. And might I say that you have excellent taste in cutlery.

:)

WELCOME!

My first small 21 was looking very much like yours after a year of EDC.
A little Wet-Or-Dry sandpaper (400, 800, 1000 grits) turned it into this:

Just a thought!

Welcome and nice Sebenza! Please read what Dallas wrote again,,,staying in here to long and your wallet will be come thinner!

Thanks for the kind words, fellows. I'm not worried about the wallet. I'm far too old to start collecting anything new. Hell, at my age I won't even buy a green banana.

I've got about a dozen knives to my name and a use for each one. I don't see myself buying another unless one wears out or I come up with a need that the others won't fill.

Welcome! That's a great looking Sebenza.

I would leave it as is and enjoy it.

Wow, that was a hell of a deal! Good for you.

Derek, that is a good looking Seb as well. I find I'm liking the older one's that have been treated in a similar manner.

No playing around, posting AND with a picture from the get go?!

We have a winner!
Glad to see your Sebenza is more than a Paper Weight!
