My $1 schrade walden 225H

LRV said he liked seeing these posts, hopefully you do too. Here isa before and after of a schrade 225H I got at a yardsale for $1. It needed some help. The bone was a horse leg bone (maybe cow) I found washed up on the river bank in a pile of driftwood. has some character to it I think. I've added some progress pics too.

Nicely done.
Is that a piece of brass tween the bolsters and bone?
Are the bolsters the originals and if so how did you get the pin hidden so well??

LRV, yes, I cut the handles atad too short and had to improvise. The bolsters are indeed the originals, alot of peening gets good hidden pins

Improvise away.. The brass tween the handle and bolster really looks good.
