All by itself. Came back from Branson a few weeks ago, only to notice my beloved 102 didn’t seem to make the trip back with me.:( I figured I just hadn’t noticed it, or maybe it fell out in the car during the shuffle, so I decided to give it some time. She’s officially gone. Funny, because I never even took her out of my pack during the entire trip, but the bag was left in the room a few days in a row during the day for several hours at a time.. I hate to think a person would do that. But, you never know. Anyways, just ranting a little because my feelings are hurt. I’m sure most of you folks have lost a knife or two and felt a certain way about it. Seeing the 102 for sale a while back, and the 102 thread really tugged at the strings! End rant. Carry on.

ETA: I have a custom sheath with BUCK stamped diagonally across it. Snaps around the handle. Light brown (tan) leather. I got it with the 102. If anyone wants it shoot me a message, no charge. I can always pick another one up whenever I get around to getting a 102.

I know how you must feel.... I have had my 102 since I was in high school (I'm 62 now so its been a while). I inadvertently threw the sheath away a few years back and didn't notice until too late. I had a replacement made by a local guy but it sucks...

What a generous offer! I very much appreciate that. I’ll trade you address for address, such generosity could never go without a little appreciation.. PM incoming :)

I could never let such a genuine gesture from a neighbor go unnoticed. It never ceases to amaze me the generosity and kind heartedness of all our friends here on the forums. The offer on the custom sheath in the OP still stands as well

bloody_pawprint: thanks for the offer but since you another 102 on the way hang onto it. That’s a very generous offer that you and everyone else shows on this forum!!! Thanks again for your offer!!

Agreed! One of the many reasons (and I’ve said it before) I love this place. It’s a great community full of great people. I’m excited to get my 102! And hoping our friend enjoys his care package :)

The extra 102 sheath will be on its way to its new home tomorrow as well :thumbsup::thumbsup:

I hope the new owner of your old knife really needed it bad. Like a parent with kids and no food or money or something like that. Because it's a rotten thing to do to take someones knife. On the other hand it gives other people a reason to be giving and generous. And that restores the balance. Good on you guys.
