My 110 Sheath

So I have this 110 sheath... I think I've had the knife and sheath for 8 years, maybe more. Was it discontinued? I haven't seen it anywhere else but I'm sure it's common.

Here is the knife. Is the C a year mark or does it represent 440C or...?

The knife was made in 1995 (indicated by the 'C'), but I'm not sure about the sheath. It may not be a 110 sheath. Looks like it could fit an Alpha folder too.
 
Thats the year mark for 1995.

Does the sheath have a model number stamp on the bottom backside? Those curved bottom sheaths are hard to come by.

My alpha folder will not fit in a 110 sheath. quite a bit of difference in the two. Nor will a 560 unless the sheath is well broken in.
Let me clarify that I am referring to the leather sheath.
 
Buck also made that style sheath for the 110 in nylon. (maybe it was cordura) I've seen them in the last year or 2 in K-Mart & W-Mart.

There is a serifed "10" lightly stamped on it.

I don't have an alpha folder to test with. I'm pretty sure I bought the knife and the sheath at the same time but I'm not sure if they actually came in the same package.

Thanks for the info. 10 years... doesn't seem that long ago.
 
Sounds like it is the correct sheath for your knife. Depending on where the 110 is stamped on the back it is not uncommon for it to slowly dissapear after say...10 years. :)

being sold as "new" with exactly the same pattern belt pouch. There's no way of telling if the knife is factory fresh, or if it's been hanging around in a cupboard for a few years, but it's still in it's blister pack and is obviously unused. I might have been tepmted by it myself if the pouch had been in black instead of brown.
