I appreciate your time on this knife.
I do have to ask, though:
Why is the action so extremely tight (& will it loosen to a normal, smooth opening snap)?

Anyone else experience this?

I'm sure they had to modify the space and put a new spring in. I would not doubt that hole was a bugger to deal with. DM

Grab it by the blade and do a few hard handle-drop openings, and it'll start snick-snappin' like it should.
